Hi there, it’s been a while… It’s incredible how much time it takes to care for babies. I finally have found a bit of spare time and got back to crafting for a wee bit.
My husband started a new job and this past summer was very busy – we were supposed to move out of state, but then we didn’t ….

I’ve got my inspiration for this card from Debbie at LimeDoodle Designs – she is absolutely incredible and definitely someone I check out almost daily. What an inspiration!

This card was made for my husband’s lovely colleague for her wedding.

I used AlteNew’s Remember This stamp set and Tim Holtz’s Distress Inks to color it.

I added and glazed Papertrey Ink’s “Congrats” with Glossy Accents. The Window was made with Simon Says‘ Stich dies, acetate and random fun glitter & sequins.

Sending Love & Hugs

Today’s card was a bit challenging for me. Not sure if it why. Maybe it was today’s solar eclipse, supermoon and spring equinox “thingy” happening.

I ended up using an image I colored a few months back. I started with picking out my papers, but then I was not sure about the colors. Something seems a bit off…. what do you think?

I added 3-dimensional liquid to the mushroom and a lot of sparkles. I just noticed how stringy the edges are … time to sharpen my trimmer.

I hope you all are having an amazing week and fun plans for the weekend.

We have Chocolate Festival in town. I might just go and check it out. Yum!

A Good Day to be Happy

It is a good day, indeed. Finally I’ve got a bit of time to craft. I wanted to sit down and create for several days now.
I have made a simple card inspired by JJ Bolton (you can see it here).

I used Mama Elephant’s Up & Away Stamp set and colored it with Copics. I added a little white Gelly roll highlights to the balloons.
I love the adorable little critters from this set and can’t wait to make more cards! The curly cloud dies are from Paper Smooches. I also added a few extra clouds cut out from vellum using Fiskars punches.

I hope you’ll have an amazingly good day!
Much love,

Indian Summer

Hello Dear Friends!
I have another card to share. This time I used the gorgeous Wyanet (from Wee Stamps). I colored her with Copics, ProMarkers & ShinHan Markers. I added a bit of a glitter with Stickles. Papers are ancient that I’ve got from Archiver’s (by Bo Bunny) I bet at least 5 years ago. Ribbon is from Papertrey Ink (Dark Chocolate) and flowers are from my stash.
Easy peasy ….
